Religious Education
The National Curriculum states the legal requirement is that "Every state-funded school must offer a curriculum which is balanced and broadly based, and which:
We learn about and actively promote values, including British Values.
Children enjoy developing critical thinking skills and learning about RE and world views and show their learning in many different ways. Religious Education is also taught through the creative curriculum within school. Children have enjoyed taking part in whole school RE days, also within key stages and through critical thinking workshops.
We have developed links with schools of different faiths and with whom we enjoy sharing our learning.
- Promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of pupils at the school and of society, and:
- Prepares pupils at the school for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life."
