As part of our science topic, we observed how humans change as they grow. Our subjects were a baby, a toddler and a young child.
hankyou to Arlo, Tilly and Hatty for taking time out of their busy day to come to help us learn more about humans.
Here are our new School Councillors who were voted in by the class to represent us at weekly meetings. Well done!
We had a visit from Barry at zoo lab who showed some weird and wonderful creatures. We got to hold or feel most of them and know we know loads of interesting facts about them! We also wrote some fantastic reports about our favourite animals.
To celebrate Chinese New Year the children cooked and ate some delicious chinese food. We made a healthy vegetable and noodle stir fry which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. We also had some prawn crackers and a fortune cookie. YUM!
The children also designed rafts out of household materials to help the rooster cross the river (as in The Great Race). We tested to see how well the rafts were built to float.
Thankyou to all the parents who were able to spare some time to help with our Chrismtas Crafts. We have well and truly got the classroom looking like a Christmas grotto.
