We had a lot of fun at Burton's Got Talent this year on Red Nose Day, but the main part of our day was spent writing a message of our own.
On a Thursday afternoon we have french. We have been singing songs to help us learn the months of the year amongst other things. Here is a video of us singing our birthday months song.
In a geography/history mix we have been looking at the lost city of Machu Picchu. We have been studying different areas of the Amazon rainforest and this lesson saw us writing information texts (applying what we learnt when writing about the planets) and because we are now so good at using iMovie, we turned them into information videos! Enjoy!
Over the last few Thursday afternoons we have been working with Philippa and learning to play the ocarina. Here are some of the tunes we have learnt.
Today we carried out a day long science investigation about how to turn Aqua Crystals invisible. We filmed them using the time lapse app on the iPads and turned our conclusions into an iMovie to show what we learned.
In Literacy we have been writing information texts about a planet that we invented. We then filmed ourselves reading the text in front of the green screens with the planets projected behind us. Here are some of our efforts. Mr Dale will try and upload them all but it may take a while!
Last Thursday we looked at Snow White in New York and redrew the front cover as we thought it was amazing to colour using just lines. Here is the original and some of our attempts.
